Spaulding Adaptive Sports Ski Club Saturdays

Spaulding Adaptive Sports Ski Club and Teen Wheelchair Basketball

Spaulding Adaptive Sports Ski Club

Have you ever imagined getting out on the slopes and enjoying winter sports but think your previous illness or injury stands in your way? If so, think again!

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced skier or rider, we have a program that will likely accommodate your needs and get you out on the slopes! In collaboration with New England Disabled Sports (NEDS), your snow sports session will be customized to meet your needs and goals.

NEDS coaches, trained in the latest teaching techniques, in conjunction with Spaulding coaches will provide a fun and safe environment in which you can experience the excitement of adaptive snow sports. Come and experience skiing or snowboarding with us at Loon Mountain!

Spaulding Ski Club is offering accessible transportation from Charlestown for the first time this year, but space will fill fast, so call today to reserve your ski days.

Teen Wheelchair Basketball coming to Boston!!

Spaulding Adaptive Sports Centers (SASC) and the Boston Centers for youth and Families (BCYF) are teaming up to host a teen wheelchair basketball program in Boston this winter!

If you are a teen athlete (physically challenged or able bodied) from the Boston Metro area, come on over to BCYF at Madison Park in Roxbury, get in a court sports chair, and see how fun AND challenging wheelchair basketball can be!
